Wear a piece of the Red Planet.
This amazing pendant contains a 100% genuine sample of Mars dust - not a replica, not fake - the real thing! Contained within a teardrop shaped glass vial with a solid sterling silver cap, you can own an actual piece of the Red Planet and take it with you wherever you go. Whether you wish to wear it yourself and wonder at it while you stare up at the glow of the red planet on a clear night, or gift it to someone immensely special to you, it will bring a feeling of awe and wonder to whoever holds it.
How is this possible?
The gravity on Mars is only about one-third as strong as the gravity on Earth and the atmosphere is very thin. When a sizable object impacts Mars, the force of the impact flings debris into space, some of which eventually finds its way to Earth after orbiting the sun for more than a million years, getting caught in Earth's gravitational pull, and tumbling through our atmosphere to land on our Earth's surface. When a Martian rock lands on Earth like this, it becomes known as a meteorite! Hunters and collectors search out meteorites, and if they are especially lucky they find a Martian meteorite.
